Why such a name? OK, we are native Swiss people, that explains the "Swiss" part. But where does the "elephant" come from?

Back in 1983 a friend presented my wife with a birthday gift. It was a huge white statue of an elephant. From that moment on, she started collecting elephants. Meanwhile, more than one thousand individuals of all size and shape are forming her collection and can be found almost everywhere around us.

So it was a short way from that fact to the name of your future hangout place:
